Macromedia MX developer kit released
MACROMEDIA ON FRIDAY announced availability of its Macromedia MX Developer Resource Kit, Volume One. The kit features extensions, components, and resources to enable Macromedia Flash MX, Dreamweaver MX, and ColdFusion MX developers to more quickly develop rich Internet applications, the company said. The kit, priced at $99, also features an archive of more than 400 MB of content from the Macromedia Designer and Developer Center, including sample applications, tutorials, and other articles. Also featured is the Macromedia Flash MX DataGrid component, which provides a way to quickly display data in a tabular format within rich Internet applications. The Media Component of the kit enables developers to load and play back various media types, including video, within their content.
