iManage announces synchronization tool, partnership
COLLABORATIVE CM (CONTENT management) software vendor iManage this week rolled out two-way synchronization technology designed to synchronize task and calendar information in its iManage WorkSite platform with popular e-mail clients such as Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, and Novell GroupWise. Intellisync for WorkSite, powered by Pumatech software, also allows workers to synchronize WorkSite information with Palm OS-based handhelds. The iManage WorkSite product combines collaboration, CM, and portal access into a single platform, according to company officials in Foster City, Calif. The Intellisync for WorkSite offering includes search capabilities, bi-directional synchronization, and automatic conflict resolution. Also this week, iManage teamed up with CRM vendor Interface Software to co-develop collaborative relationship intelligence offerings. Under terms of the deal, iManage WorkSite will be integrated with Interface Software’s InterAction 5 CRM product. The combined offering aims to unify collaboration, CM, and customer relationship information.
