Macromedia to back .Net
ANTICIPATING THE WEDNESDAY launch of Microsoft’s Visual Studio.Net tool suite, Macromedia on Monday said it will support the .Net platform and the .Net Framework in a forthcoming iteration of Dreamweaver UltraDev development tool. By complementing Visual Studio.Net, San Francisco-based Macromedia’s UltraDev will enable developers to assemble .Net Framework applications visually, according to the company. Furthermore, Macromedia said that future versions of Flash Player and ColdFusion will support .Net as well.
