PowerQuest launches PowerExpert SRM 5.0
OREM, UTAH-BASED POWERQUEST on Wednesday launched the latest version of its Windows-based storage resource manager, PowerExpert SRM 5.0. Touting a centralized management console, the software is designed to eliminate downtime and improve content management. It offers new reporting and policy management features, including giving IT managers the ability to control wasted disk space, block unwanted file types, and allocate storage space and directories. In addition, the centralized management console features file screening, quota management, trending, and system management capabilities. Available in late March, PowerExpert SRM 5.0 costs $1,295 per server.
