NetManage adds Java to integration package
HOST-TO-WEB VENDOR NETMANAGE on Tuesday added Java support to its OnWeb integration solutions. Java-based functionality is currently available in OnWeb Host Publishing for Linux; the next product to include Java support will be OnWeb Host Publishing for Solaris, which will be available in the fourth quarter of this year, according to officials at the Cupertino, Calif.-based company. OnWeb enables users to integrate legacy data into Web applications that can be deployed across multiple platforms. The new ability to run OnWeb-blended apps within the Java Virtual Machine will extend users’ ability to create collaborative applications that include data from mainframe and other host systems, officials said.
