Sybase, SuSE link on Linux
SYBASE AND SUSE Linux on Tuesday announced a technology partnership in which the two companies intend to synchronize product planning and development to provide joint customers with a consistent support base. Sybase’s Adapter Server Enterprise database will support the upcoming SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 8 Linux distribution. Sybase will certify some of its products accordingly. The alliance will help customers lower their cost of ownership, according to Sybase.
