HP teams up to ease app assembly
HEWLETT-PACKARD TEAMED UP with ObjectVenture, a Milford, Mass.-based manufacturer of PCML (Pattern and Component Markup Language) developer products, the companies said Tuesday. Under the alliance, ObjectVenture will support Palo Alto, Calif.-based HP’s Application Server 8.0 by integrating with Forte for Java into ObjectAssembler J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition), a visual development environment that programmers can use to design, implement, assemble, and deploy applications. Because of the ObjectAssembler tool, developers can focus on issues unique to their organizations, such as business logic, the companies said.
