Borland announces Delphi tool upgrade
BORLAND ON TUESDAY announced Borland Delphi 7 Studio, featuring preview capabilities for the Microsoft .Net framework and support for Web services and model-driven development. Delphi developers can develop skills for .Net and prepare applications for the platform without abandoning existing work and skills on the Windows platform, Borland said. Also featured are application life cycle solutions such as modeling, MDA (Model Driven Architecture), reporting, and cross-platform deployment. Visual Web development also is highlighted, as is support for Linux development.
